1. Who can use Lilanu

Lilanu is available to anyone aged 13 or older. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

If you are using Lilanu on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to agree to these terms on its behalf.

2. What Lilanu is — and what it isn't

Lilanu is a tool to help families coordinate the practical side of care — tracking medications, appointments, tasks, and shared updates. It is designed to make communication and organization easier.

Lilanu is not a medical service, and nothing in the app constitutes medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions. Do not rely on Lilanu as a substitute for professional medical care.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your password with anyone. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately at security@mail.lilanu.com.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Care circles and sharing

When you create a care space, you become the owner and are responsible for managing who has access. You can invite others as editors or viewers, and you can remove access at any time.

By inviting someone to your care circle, you confirm that you have their consent and the appropriate authority to share the care data in that space with them.

Members of a care circle agree that data shared within the circle is confidential and should not be shared outside of it without permission.

5. Your content

You own the data you enter into Lilanu. By using Lilanu, you give us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the service to you.

You agree not to enter into Lilanu any content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or that violates the privacy or rights of any person.

6. Acceptable use

When using Lilanu, you agree not to:

• Use Lilanu for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data without their permission.
• Interfere with or disrupt the availability or performance of Lilanu.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access Lilanu without our written permission.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of Lilanu.

7. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Lilanu available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, pause, or discontinue features at any time.

We will do our best to give advance notice of any significant changes that affect how you use your data.

8. Pricing

Lilanu is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features or a subscription in the future, we will give existing users reasonable advance notice and explain what changes.

9. Intellectual property

Lilanu, its logo, and all content produced by us are our intellectual property. You may not use our name, logo, or branding without our written permission.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

Lilanu is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that Lilanu will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lilanu and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service — including any loss of data.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of Lilanu will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or $50, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lilanu and its team from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of Lilanu, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

13. Termination

You can stop using Lilanu and delete your account at any time through the app settings.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these terms, with or without notice. If we do, we will try to give you the opportunity to export your data beforehand, unless there are urgent safety or legal reasons preventing it.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the “last updated” date at the top. If the changes are material, we will notify you by email or in-app notice. Continued use of Lilanu after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
